Baby Breakfast and Lunch of Champions (for Mommies too!!!)

Ooooo did we have a cook-fest today!  Granted, we were lucky enough to join some mommy-baby friends for a little riverfront lunch and had some AMAZING bisque and ahi (well I did, anyway;), but for our pre and post meals, we did a lot of sharing-2 really yummy, simple and healthy recipes below!  Remember-make them your own!!

Baby-fied Smoothie:


  • a cup or so of fresh organic berries of your choice (we chose blackberries, raspberries, & blueberries today)
  • 1 container PLAIN organic Greek yogurt (the plain has tons less sugar and carbs than flavored)
  • a banana or 2
  • touch of baby oatmeal for him, none for me



  1. steam all berries (10 mins or so)
  2. add bananas 
  3. puree until smooth
  4. stir in amount of yogurt and cereal to your liking
  5. share and enjoy! powerful antioxidants, light energizing breakfast, and delish:)


Broccoli? Heck yes! (click here for health benefits and fresh ideas)


  • a cup or so of fresh organic broccoli and the rest is optional:
  • sprinkle of cheese of your choice
  • sliver of butter
  • spoonful of coconut oil (or olive)
  1. steam broccoli (10 mins or so)
  2. add cheese/oil/butter to your liking
  3. puree all together OR cut and stir for a self-eater 
  4. let cool or chill/reheat and enjoy!

***if pureeing either of these, please use the cooking liquids in the mix-tons of nutrients lost in those!
