Baby-fied Smoothie:
- a cup or so of fresh organic berries of your choice (we chose blackberries, raspberries, & blueberries today)
- 1 container PLAIN organic Greek yogurt (the plain has tons less sugar and carbs than flavored)
- a banana or 2
- touch of baby oatmeal for him, none for me
- steam all berries (10 mins or so)
- add bananas
- puree until smooth
- stir in amount of yogurt and cereal to your liking
- share and enjoy! powerful antioxidants, light energizing breakfast, and delish:)
Broccoli? Heck yes! (click here for health benefits and fresh ideas)
- a cup or so of fresh organic broccoli and the rest is optional:
- sprinkle of cheese of your choice
- sliver of butter
- spoonful of coconut oil (or olive)
- steam broccoli (10 mins or so)
- add cheese/oil/butter to your liking
- puree all together OR cut and stir for a self-eater
- let cool or chill/reheat and enjoy!
***if pureeing either of these, please use the cooking liquids in the mix-tons of nutrients lost in those!
